Where did the weekend go?

One blink and I missed it! I spent most of yesterday spring cleaning my workroom - it was a total tip. But now it's absolutely lush and I know where everything is (I hope). I found all sorts of things I didn't know I had!

I upgraded my Photoshop recently to CS5 extended - wow, it's such a powerful software package and I don't think I'll ever have time to learn the full extent of its capabilities, but I'm having serious fun trying!

Here are a few experimental pieces I've done of the grandkids:

Have a great day everyone, I'll be back soon xx

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Crikey, it's been a busy couple of weeks. I don't know where the time goes - I'm sure the days get shorter as I get older! I'm compensating by sleeping less - I'm up most mornings before five. It's the best time of the day, especially at this time of year, and the time when I'm most productive with my scrapping.
I've spent a lot of time recently designing digital scrapping kits. ScrapGirls advertised for new Product designers so I thought I'd have a go and apply. I had to design a mini kit comprising; 6 papers, a set of embellishments and a set of wordart; a set of digital brushes; 2 paper templates and 2 embellishment templates. Here are a couple of layouts made with the kit. Let's hope they like my work!

The top layout is of my grandaughter Maddy at last years' school sports day and the bottom one uses some of my favourite pics of my grandaughter Alisha, taken about 3 yrs ago.

I'll be back soon! xx

I've never been good at keeping a diary but I thought it was time I joined Bloggerland!

I shall try to be super-organised and post regularly, but we all know that life has a tendency to take over sometimes.

I had the most amazing day yesterday - my birthday present from the family was the opportunity to be "zookeeper for a day" at Colchester zoo. WOW! what a day. I was totally blown away. Here are a few pics from the experience:
